The search goes on for Waikanae's Joe Pryor

The search goes on for Waikanae's Joe Pryor

It's now been four days since the 63-year-old went missing from his workplace on Friday ... after leaving a note saying he'd be back at 10:30am.

Pryor was last seen wearing blue overalls, an orange and white bucket hat, carrying a backpack outside the St Lukes church on Elizabeth St at around 8:15 on Friday morning.

Multiple search and rescue teams were out yesterday, but were unsuccessful.

A police spokesperson says they don't believe the disappearance to be suspicious, but believe Pryer is still somewhere in the wider Wellington region.
