Four children are fighting for their lives in hospital following Monday night's crash in Matamata

Four children are fighting for their lives in hospital following Monday night's crash in Matamata

Police confirm the vehicle involved was stolen from Hamilton, and enquiries suggest it was linked to a burglary on Monday in Matamata

Four children are in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital's Intensive Care Unit.

A fifth was less seriously wounded..

Waikato District Commander Superintendent Bruce Bird says it's too early to provide details on the crash, but speed appears a likely factor.
