Andy Murray's questioned his Australian Open future after a second round loss

Andy Murray's questioned his Australian Open future after a second round loss

The five-time finalist had been in encouraging form, reaching the decider last week in Sydney and beating the world number 21 in the first round.

A straight sets defeat to Japanese qualifier Taro Daniel, who's ranked 120 in the world, has left the 34-year-old quizzical.

Second seed Daniil Medvedev has beaten Nick Kyrgios in four sets, copping a volley of boos along the way as he went about ousting the local.

Kyrgios says he provided a public service with his customary display of bravado in a losing cause.

US Open champion Emma Raducanu has also bowed out, struggling with blisters on her hand.
