Protestors are marching from Auckland's Domain to Aotea Square in a rally against Covid-19 vaccinations and restrictions

Protestors are marching from Auckland's Domain to Aotea Square in a rally against Covid-19 vaccinations and restrictions

It comes as Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki sits in custody at Mount Eden Prison for organising similar protests during Delta lockdown.

The 63-year-old was released on bail for the charges - but was arrested again on Monday for breaching his bail conditions.

Police say while they are monitoring the event, they recognise individuals' lawful right to protest.

Police ask locals to be patient on the roads and avoid the areas if possible - as traffic delays and disruptions are expected.

Protestors have also convened in Wellington, near Civic Square.
