A patient at Wakari Hospital, tested positive on Thursday - and another two patients in the ward have since returned positive tests.
Meanwhile in an unrelated event, a patient tested positive at a rural trust hospital, following a transfer from Dunedin Hospital on Friday.

They say no more patients will be admitted, and it's been closed to visitors.
