A shopping centre in southeast Auckland has been ram-raided by multiple cars overnight

A shopping centre in southeast Auckland has been ram-raided by multiple cars overnight

The Herald understands drivers smashed through an entrance to Ormiston Town Centre before 1am, driving through the mall and crashing into numerous shops.

Shattered glass and twisted metal were left behind.

Noel Leeming was one targeted, with a witness saying empty boxes for iPads and microwaves were strewn outside the store, and a massive television had been broken.

A tow truck was also there.
