Warriors CEO Cameron George believes a verbal altercation between Matt Lodge and club owner Mark Robinson last December was a factor in his departure from the NRL side

Warriors CEO Cameron George believes a verbal altercation between Matt Lodge and club owner Mark Robinson last December was a factor in his departure from the NRL side

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Lodge left the club suddenly last week, with further questions now being asked around how much money the Warriors will still be paying him under the salary cap for next season.

George says he wouldn't describe the altercation as heated, but it left a mark.

New Zealand Cricket is certain on its new direction for the White Ferns.

Vice captain Amy Satterthwaite has reluctantly retired from international cricket after not being offered an annual playing contract for the coming season.

NZC general manager of high performance Bryan Stronach says they're giving younger cricketers a chance.

Saturday's ANZ Premiership netball match between the Northern Mystics and Central Pulse has been postponed with Covid cases confirmed in the Mystics camp.

The round 12 game will be played next Friday night in Auckland.
