Golfer Ryan Fox looks to secure a spot in the field for next month's US Open with a strong performance at the Dutch Open beginning tonight in Amsterdam

The New Zealand number one is coming off a 54th placed finish at the PGA Championship.

He is eighth in the European Tour standings with the top ten after next week's European Open which Fox is not playing, earning their ticket to the third major of the year in Massachussets.

Fox says his usual strength, the driver is the one area of his game he is not happy with.
