A measured approach has put Lydia Ko in contention for a share of the biggest purse in women's golf

The world number three has moved into a tie for fourth ahead of the final round of the US women's Open which has a US 10 million dollar prize pool.
Ko carded a five under 66 in round three to be six under for the tournament, seven shots adrift of the pace set by Aussie Minjee Lee.
Steven Alker meanwhile will look to back up his Senior PGA Championship win, in a three way tie for the lead heading in to the final round of the latest PGA Champions Tour event in Idaho.
