    Nelson police say they're appalled by motorist behaviour during an operation on State Highway 6 over the weekend


    Across three hours on Friday and Saturday nights seven people were caught drink driving, and 12 notices issued for speeding and insecure loads.

    Acting Senior Sergeant Tyson Martin says those speeding were often young drivers breaching license conditions and carrying passengers.
