    Firefighters have managed to contain a blaze that broke out at a skifield north of Queenstown

    Firefighters have managed to contain a blaze that broke out at a skifield north of Queenstown


    It happened at the Cardrona Alpine resort at a large retail complex there.

    At least four crews battled the fire.. no one was injured.

    The ski field will have a delayed opening today as staff work through the cleanup with the fire service.
