High jumper Hamish Kerr has bettered his own national record, leaping to 2.34m in Slovakia and extending his unbeaten run indoors

High jumper Hamish Kerr has bettered his own national record, leaping to 2.34m in Slovakia and extending his unbeaten run indoors

Kerr cleared the mark at the first time of asking, adding 3cm to his previous mark to claim the meet win.

He's unbeaten through his first five events of 2023.

Kerr failed at 2.36m, but his efforts surpassed the automatic entry standard for August's world championships in Budapest.
