Dunedin hospital patients feel more comfortable sharing a room with someone with the same Covid-19 vaccination status, as them

Otago University research conducted at the city's hospital in February 2022, reveals 59 percent thought vaccinated patients should be separated from non-vaccinated.

Professor Bob Hancox says staff recognised the practical limitations and ethical issues of separating patients.

He says most hospital workers believed the measures in place, testing on arrival, were adequate.
