The Waikato Chamber of Commerce's confident commercial development will continue to grow in Hamilton

The central city's seen a 35 percent increase -- gaining more than 10 and a half thousand square metres of offices and buildings in the past 12 months.

Foot traffic's also been on the rise in the second half of 2022, due to development of businesses and office spaces.

CEO Don Good says Waikato gets streams of graduates from Waikato University and Te Pukenga.

He says because of the youthful energy that's coming into the city, the growth will continue.
