    Pole vaulter Eliza McCartney has finished third at the latest Diamond League meet in Switzerland


    A jump of 4.71 metres was enough for the 26-year-old to claim her first podium finish at the event in five years.

    Meanwhile, Tom Walsh secured silver in the men's shot put, behind World and Olympic champion Ryan Crouser.

    Distance runner Sam Tanner finished fifth in the men's 1500 metres and sprinter Zoe Hobbs also placed fifth in the women's 100 metres.
