A Wellington bar owner is accusing the city council, Police, and Te Whatu Ora of a triple-agency crackdown -- on fun

The El Barrio and Vinyl Bar owner's attempt to open up a new spot, is being thwarted by the three agencies.

The new bar is nearly fully fitted-out, and almost ready to open.

Owner Greig Wilson, says some believe another bar popping up in the city's entertainment district would see more alcohol-related harm in the CBD.

He says social issues have been increasing in the area -- and the agencies link it to bars.
