Former Silver Ferns captain Adine Wilson is calling for the team to take a more direct attacking approach in their upcoming series against England

New Zealand struggled to get the ball to the post in their loss to the Roses in the semifinals of the World Cup.

The Ferns will be without lofty shooter Grace Nweke - who's still recovering from a knee injury - and Wilson says they can't afford to hesitate in the circle.

The Silver Ferns team for the series will be named on September 6.
