    Queenstown Lakes District Council has acknowledged the conclusions of a public health investigation into the town's cryptosporidium outbreak


    Property and Infrastructure General Manager Tony Avery says they've always accepted the water supply could be the source of the illness - and whilst disappointing, it's not totally unexpected.

    Council's focus is on putting protozoa barriers in place at its Two-Mile water treatment plant.
