Another day - another Max Verstappen pole position in Formula One

The defending champion has blitzed the night time qualifying session to clock the fastest time for the Qatar Grand Prix.

With the event seeing the return of the sprint format - Verstappen can wrap up a third straight driver's title in tomorrow's shorter-distance race.

But the Dutchman says that doesn't change his ambitions for Monday morning's Grand Prix - on Sky Sport.



Racing for the first time at the Qatar track - New Zealand's Liam Lawson qualified down in 18th.
