Christchurch City Council's leadership team has taken another hit

Christchurch City Council's leadership team has taken another hit

Acting Chief Executive Mary Richardson says council's Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Resources Leah Scales, has resigned.

It comes less than a week after confirmation of Council Chief Executive Dawn Baxendale's resignation.

A newly released review also has Council under fire, for it's 6.5 million dollar staffing budget blowout.

26 staff were hired in the three waters team over four years, without proper approval.

Three Waters head Helen Beaumont and her boss Jane Davis left their roles under mysterious circumstances in February.
