    The axe has fallen in basketball's NBL


    Adelaide have sacked coach CJ Bruton as the 36ers flounder near the foot of the ladder.

    The former Breakers guard - who helped the New Zealand club to three titles - has been at the helm of the Adelaide side since 2022 - and departs with the club second-last on the ladder after just four wins from 13 games this season.
