Elina Svitolina has overcome injury to beat world number 71 Xiyu Wang and reach the final of the ASB tennis Classic

The Ukrainian second seed's achieved a 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 comeback win across 140 minutes...despite receiving on-court treatment for what is believed to be a hip injury.

Svitolina admits she considered retiring after the first set, and says it was a physically gruelling encounter.



Svitolina will face defending champion Coco Gauff in today's final.
