A University of Toronto study's found a positive association between drinking 100 percent fruit juice and weight gain in children.
One serving a day's linked to a gain in their body mass index.
Author Vasanti Malik says it's likely the extra energy or calories found in fruit juice, is producing the effect.
She says there should be limits around the amount of juice kids are drinking, to combat excess weight gain.
