Two people have been arrested after an aggravated robbery and ramraid in the Hastings area of Hawke's Bay

Last Friday an offender threatened a man with a tyre iron before taking his cellphone and vehicle in Te Mata Peak near Havelock North.

A short time later a vehicle was used to reverse into a shop in the nearby town of Clive.

Two offenders tried to get into the cigarette cabinet but failed.

Police later arrested two people, they are both due in court tomorrow on charges of aggravated robbery, burglary and intentional damage.
