Wellington bus drivers are celebrating, as the Regional Council moves to implement driver-only toilets

Wellington bus drivers are celebrating, as the Regional Council moves to implement driver-only toilets

The amenities are set to be installed at seven Wellington bus stops by June.

Greater Wellington Transport Committee chair Thomas Nash says bus drivers deserve to work comfortably, and the toilets are long overdue.

He says the council has long been dissatisfied with bus driver conditions, and this is a positive step.
