Demand for early childhood teachers is said to be high, partially as many consider moving overseas

Demand for early childhood teachers is said to be high, partially as many consider moving overseas

The Australian state of Victoria's offering up to 50-thousand dollars for people to teach there.

It comes after revelations Queensland's been attempting to convince Kiwi healthcare workers to move overseas, something the Health Minister confirmed was concerning.

Early Childhood Council Chief Executive Simon Laube says centres in Wellington are at capacity.

He says it wouldn't be hard for teachers to find a job in this country.
