Two people charged in relation to alleged abuse towards two young children in Lower Hutt have both pleaded NOT guilty

The boy and girl, aged 4 and 5, were hospitalised after their serious injuries were discovered in Stokes Valley this month.

A 25 year old woman has been charged with two counts of failing to protect a child, and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Charges against the 25 year old man include wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and wilful ill-treatment of a dog.
