    A stunning second round effort has surged Lydia Ko into contention at the LPGA Tour event in Arizona


    The Kiwi golfer's dropped eight birdies in an impressive eight-under par round - moving her to 11-under for the tournament, just two shots off the lead.

    Meanwhile Ryan Fox is fighting to avoid another missed cut on the PGA Tour.

    He sits at even-par overall through nine holes in round two of the Houston Open - the current cut line is at even par.
