New Zealand Cricket's mourning the death of legspinner Jack Alabaster, aged 93

The icon of both Southland and Otago cricket played 21 tests from 1955 to 1972 - taking 49 wickets.

Alabaster was part of New Zealand's first four test victories - and also holds the unusual distinction of both his first and last first-class match coming in matches for the national side.
