A man who once threw a Molotov cocktail into Sir John Key's electorate office, has admitted setting the Huntly Railway Building on fire

A man who once threw a Molotov cocktail into Sir John Key's electorate office, has admitted setting the Huntly Railway Building on fire

Herald Open Justice reports Daniel Vale, who was jailed in 2010 for torching Key's office and the Helensville Rugby Club, has pleaded guilty to his latest act.

CCTV footage shows Vale setting fire to the historic building at about quarter past ten on the night of May 31st.

It took multiple fire appliances to battle the blaze - which caused around 100 thousand dollars of damage.

Vale has been convicted of arson in the Hamilton District Court, and is due to reappear for sentencing in July.
