A worker injured underground on Auckland's Central Interceptor is out of hospital

A worker injured underground on Auckland's Central Interceptor is out of hospital

The man was trapped between a sheet pile and a beam six metres underground at a Haverstock Road site last weekend.

Watercare later confirmed he'd received minor injuries.

Watercare's Shayne Cunis says they're still investigating the accident.

He says the worker is definitely sore, but has no broken bones or fractures -- which is most encouraging.
