A property expert says now is a great time to enter the market, as nationwide prices stagnate

The latest OneRoof-Valocity House Value Index shows New Zealand's average property value grew 0.4-percent in the past three months to 977-thousand-dollars.

OneRoof chief Greg Hornblow says it's currently a buyers market - with supply at 30-percent, outweighing demand which is at 19-percent.

He says there's a lot of stock on the market and if you can afford it, now's a good time to buy.
