Ioan Gruffudd's fiancée Bianca Wallace insists their relationship started four months after the actor split from his wife Alice Evans

The 50-year-old 'Liar' star's partner has finally confirmed the timeline of their romance after months of speculation from fans over when they got together after Ioan ended his 14-year-marriage to Alice - with whom he has two daughters - in March 2021

Bianca shared the information in the caption of a selfie showing her and Ioan in the south of France in late September 2021, which she said was taken six months after his divorce filing from Alice, 55, and three months after the start of their relationship.

She said alongside the snap: "Our first photo; St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France, September 27th, 2021. Two days after I landed, both incredibly nervous and unsure of what our futures held...

"Three months earlier, we realised there was something happening that we needed to eventually explore. Of course, we did not expect that to be so soon and in France!...

"Universe had a different idea and pushed us together much sooner than we had planned. One month after this photo, 3 months into a very new relationship... Well, we all know what happened then!...

"There's something different and deeper, something so special about a relationship that is built within the midst of pain, chaos and fire...

"We do see your messages! To everyone who knows what we have gone through, to those who have gone through it themselves and survived - How lucky are we? It's a different kind of love and strength on the other side...

"Thank you for seeing the truth and sharing your stories of survival, strength and love - A love that runs so deep that no amount of darkness can get in. Nothing but love over here."

Bianca's references to "pain and fire" appeared to reference Ioan's ex Alice's long and public campaign of accusations against the actor in the wake of their split, including several social media attacks that led to Ioan to accuse her of child abuse.

In October 2021 when Ioan and Bianca, 31, went public with their romance, Alice alleged he had been seeing an unnamed, younger woman for three years.

Bianca recently launched a blistering attack on Alice, claiming online she had set up fake social media accounts to harass them after being hit by a restraining order banned her from mentioning Ioan on social media.

She shared 4,512 pages worth of social media posts in which Alice had mentioned her or Ioan - along with links to court documents detailing the three-year restraining order he took out against her as a result of her online attacks.

Alice, who had daughters Ella, 14, and Elsie, 10, with Ioan, claimed online she has never abused anyone on the web, and said she needs money to feed her children and will take legal action against her critics when she can afford it.
