    Dairy prices are continuing their upward rise

    Overall prices have risen 1.2 percent at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction overnight.

    Whole Milk Powder is up 3-percent, Skim Milk Powder down 0.6.

    The GDT Price Index has reached its highest point since its record-breaking spike two years ago.

    Fonterra has already anticipated the rise -- raising its forecast Farmgate Milk Price mid-point last week from 8-dollars-50 to 9-dollars.
