    A 34-year-old man's been charged after allegedly setting fire to the front door of a Melbourne synagogue on Friday night - while people were inside

    A 34-year-old man's been charged after allegedly setting fire to the front door of a Melbourne synagogue on Friday night - while people were inside


    Around 20 worshippers were forced to evacuate out a back entrance.

    There were no injuries.

    Police were able to put out the fire - which was contained to the front entrance.

    The man faces a number of charges and is due to appear in court.
