Australia's men's cricketers aren't holding back on their upcoming test tour of New Zealand

Australia's men's cricketers aren't holding back on their upcoming test tour of New Zealand

They've named a top-string side to face the Black Caps in two tests from the end of the month, in Wellington and Christchurch.

Pat Cummins leads a largely unchanged 14-man Aussie squad with all-rounder Michael Neser the only addition... Neser set to play his first test since 2022.

New Zealand meanwhile travel to Hamilton tomorrow morning ahead of the second match against South Africa on Tuesday... wicketkeeper Tom Blundell will leave Mount Maunganui with some happy memories after that big opening win.

A storm in the desert has Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox stranded on even par after two holes at the PGA Tour's Phoenix Open.

Play was suspended due to darkness, after wind and heavy rain left pools of water on the greens at TPC Scottsdale... delaying the tournament by three and a half hours.

About half the field was able to finish their opening rounds - the leader on 6 under is American Sahith Theegala.

Another chance looms for Macca Springer to mount a case as the Crusaders' first choice left wing this Super Rugby season.

The 20-year-old's been given a second start in the 11 jersey on their Northern Tour against Bristol tomorrow morning.

Leicester Fainga'anuku was Scott Robertson's strike weapon out wide last season before a shift to Toulon.

Springer's set his sights on making that spot his own.

    Kickoff is at 8.30am tomorrow.

And a clause in Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes contract means he cannot take key members of Formula One staff with him to Ferrari in 2025.

A non-poaching proviso was inserted into the seven-time world champion's last deal to prevent a mass exodus.
