Ram-raids have reached a three year low - at 15 in April

Ram-raids have reached a three year low - at 15 in April

    1 July 2024
That's 75 percent down from the same time last year, and the fewest since February 2021.

Police attribute it to their stronger focus on violent retail crime, which has been a serious concern, especially petrol stations, jewellers and malls.

Aggravated robberies have increased, with more than 600 people facing the courts or youth processes in the past year.
