    The Government's dished out a 12.3-million dollar boost towards Nelson's storm recovery

    The cost-sharing package includes six-million dollars to improve slips on council-owned land affecting residential homes.

    A similar amount is going towards a 50-percent contribution to support the buy-out of up to 17-slip affected properties.

    While 300-thousand dollars will be spent monitoring the Tahunanui Slump over 10 years.

    Emergency Management and Recovery Minister, Mark Mitchell says it gives property owners impacted by the 2022 weather event, a way forward.
