Hopes 2026 will be a better year for construction - after a tough 2025

Hopes 2026 will be a better year for construction - after a tough 2025

    19 August 2025
The latest Building Construction Sector Report shows revenue fell by five-billion-dollars - compared to the last reporting period.

    Worker numbers plummeted by 16-thousand.

New Zealand Chinese Building Industry Association President, Frank Xu says there's optimism for next year - but many things are in play.

He says that will depend on things like the economy in general, interest rates and population growth.
