    Fonterra farmer-shareholders have voted overwhelmingly in favour of selling the iconic Kiwi brands to French company, Lactalis , under a 4.2 billion dollar deal.

    Fonterra will continue to supply raw ingredients under a multi-year agreement.

    Chief Executive Miles Hurrell says they'll be working to build a long-term relationship that extends beyond that agreement.

    He says it will be Fonterra's job to build that relationship, like they do with all the consumer brands they supply to.
