    Raukumara to Kaweka ranges
    Fine, some high cloud.

    Remaining North Island mountain areas
    Cloud increasing, a few showers about Egmont National Park, and developing about
    Tararua Forest Park from evening, turning to rain overnight.

    WINDS
    Northwesterlies, becoming strong in the south from afternoon.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    About 3000 metres.

    Kaikoura ranges
    High cloud thickening. A few evening showers possible.
    Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks, the Southern Alps and Mt Aspiring

    National Park
    Rain, heavy for a time in the west this morning , then easing to isolated
    showers. Clearing south of Arthurs Pass later.

    Fiordland National park
    Showers.

    WINDS
    Westerlies, strong or gale about the tops,

    FREEZING LEVEL
    About 3000 metres, lowering to 1400 metres in Fiordland this afternoon.
