Rain about the inland range this evening. Kahurangi National Park Showers, turning to rain with heavy falls for a time this afternoon and evening, then snow lowering to 1400 metres at night. About and south of Nelson Lakes and Paparoa National Parks Showers. Heavy rain for a time this morning and afternoon, with possible thunderstorms about and south of Arthur's Pass National Park, then snow lowering to 700 metres in Fiordland and 900-1000 metres elsewhere.
