Fine today. Mostly cloudy tomorrow, with patchy drizzle morning and evening.
Rain developing in the south this evening. Occasional rain or drizzle further north tomorrow.
Fine at first. Northwest gales for exposed parts of the high country, easing tonight. Becoming cloudy about the Plains tomorrow morning.
Otago and Southland
Fine and warm today. A few showers developing tonight, some possibly heavy tomorrow afternoon and evening. Northwest gales in exposed places, severe in Southland, easing tonight.
Rain, heavy and possibly thundery at times. Severe northwest gales, easing this evening.
Mainly fine today. Becoming cloudy tomorrow.
National Long Range Forecast to 25 November
North Island, partly cloudy in the west, fine in the east. Isolated showers north of Hamilton, and about Hawkes Bay ranges in the afternoon. South Island, rain in the west, easing later. Fine in Nelson and Marlborough. Elsewhere, a few showers spreading north with a southerly change.
North Island, areas of morning cloud then mainly fine apart from a few showers in the areas east of Tauranga to Dannevirke from afternoon. South Island, mainly fine, isolated morning showers in North Otago and about the Kaikoura Ranges.
North Island, mainly fine, isolated showers in central parts and ranges of Gisborne and Hawkes Bay. South Island, rain developing in the west, south of the Glaciers. Mainly fine elsewhere.
Fine spells for Sunday and Tuesday. A few showers on Monday as winds change southerly, dying out later.
