Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
Mainly fine at first, but cloud and isolated showers about coastal Wairarapa, spreading to coastal Hawkes Bay and Gisborne this afternoon or evening.
Nelson, Buller, Westland and Fiordland
Fine, apart from morning cloud over northern Marlborough.
Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Areas of low cloud or fog morning and night, otherwise fine intervals.
Rain or drizzle, clearing to fine spells this afternoon.

North Island, showers in the east turning to rain. Fine elsewhere, with isolated showers in Northland. South Island, drizzle about the east coast. Otherwise cloudy periods for most, but fine for Nelson and Buller and the far South.
North Island, rain in the east, possibly heavy in Gisborne. Partly cloudy with isolated showers elsewhere. South Island, cloudy periods. Showers developing in Fiordland,and drizzle for Kaikoura Coast and Christchurch.
Thursday North Island, rain in the east, and in Northland later. Showers developing from Auckland to Rotorua, fine elsewhere. South Island, cloudy periods. Showers for southern Westland and the far south.
North Island, rain in the north and east, partly cloudy elsewhere. South Island, partly cloudy for the south and west, and for Christchurch. Fine elsewhere.
Cloudy with the odd shower, more frequent from Thursday. Strong easterlies gradually easing, tending southeast on Thursday.
