Fine spells. A few showers, frequent and heavier for a time tomorrow morning.
Auckland to Waitomo and Taupo, including Coromandel
Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Areas of low cloud and fog at first tomorrow.
Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taihape
Periods of rain, clearing from Bay of Plenty this evening. Heavy falls possible for the Wairoa District tomorrow, and brief snow possible for the Desert Road.
Taranaki to Kapiti
Periods of rain north of Kapiti, clearing tomorrow and becoming fine.
Wellington, Wairarapa, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury
Mainly fine tonight, however rain about northern Wairarapa. Cloudy periods and the odd shower tomorrow, but remaining fine in Nelson.
Fine, apart from a few showers in Buller tomorrow evening.
Otago, Southland, Fiordland
Showers about Fiordland and the south coast. Generally fine elsewhere, but scattered showers tomorrow morning.

North Island: Showers in Northland, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay clearing, and becoming fine everywhere. Showers for the far south at night. South Island: Fine for the west coast, apart from isolated showers in Buller. Showers spreading north elsewhere through the day.
North Island: Showers developing about and south of Taranaki to Gisborne, and in Northland and the Coromandel Peninsula. Cloudy periods elsewhere. South Island: Mainly fine in the west and around inland Otago. Morning showers clearing elsewhere.
A few showers for Gisborne and the Wairoa District, and coastal showers elsewhere for Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa. Early showers clearing about Northland. Fine elsewhere.
Partly cloudy with southwesterlies on Thursday. Early rain on Friday, turning to occasional showers later in the day as southwesterlies becoming strong. Showers and strong southwesterlies continue through Saturday.
