Generally fine. Isolated showers about the ranges this afternoon and evening, some heavy with isolated thunderstorms possible.
Horowhenua to Wellington
Cloudy periods, but some longer fine spells in the afternoon.
Marlborough, Nelson, Buller and Grey
Partly cloudy with isolated showers.
Westland, also Canterbury, Otago, and Southland
Mostly fine, with areas of morning cloud, and scattered rain developing about Westland, Southland and Clutha in the evening.
Fiordland
Cloud increasing. A few showers developing this morning, and turning to rain this evening, possibly heavy.
Chatham Islands
Fine and cloudy periods.
