Remaining North Island areas
Mainly fine. Areas of cloud morning and evening. Isolated afternoon and evening showers inland north of Manawatu, and a light shower for Wellington tomorrow morning.
Nelson and Marlborough
Fine. Isolated afternoon and evening showers about the ranges.
Buller, Grey and Westland
Partly cloudy.
Canterbury and Otago
Cloudy periods. Afternoon and evening showers, some heavy and thundery about inland North Otago this evening, and everywhere tomorrow. Inland drizzle overnight.
Southland and Fiordland
Mainly fine, however showers developing tomorrow afternoon, some possibly heavy and thundery.
Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods. Patchy drizzle tomorrow morning and afternoon.
