    Thursday : Southwest 15 knots, rising to 25 knots in the morning, then easing to 15 knots north of Cape Palliser in the evening.
    Sea becoming rough everywhere for a time.
    Expect strong and unusual currents and unpredictable surges at shore.
    Northeast swell 3 metres offshore easing.
    Southwest swell 2 metres developing.
    Poor visibility in showers, easing in the afternoon.

    Outlook following 3 days:
    Friday: Southerly 15 knots but 25 knots south of Cape Palliser.
    Becoming southerly 15 knots everywhere in the evening.
    Sea rough in the south, easing.
    Southerly swell becoming heavy for a time.
    Saturday: Southwest 10 knots, rising to southerly 30 knots later.
    Sea becoming rough.
    Southerly swell becoming heavy for a time.
    Sunday: Southerly 30 knots, easing to 20 knots later.
    Rough sea easing.
    Southerly swell becoming heavy.
