Long period southwest swell 2 metres. Northwest swell 1 metre developing south of Abut Head. Poor visibility in showers. Outlook following 3 days: Wednesday: Northerly 20 knots, becoming northeast 40 knots but southwest 40 knots south of Cape Foulwind in the morning. Sea becoming very rough. Moderate westerly swell. Thursday: Becoming southwest 40 knots everywhere early, easing to 25 knots in the morning, then to westerly 15 knots later. Sea very rough at times. Westerly swell becoming heavy for a time.
