Thursday : Easterly 45 knots but 55 knots north of Cape Reinga, easing to 35 knots in the north in the morning. Becoming northeast 25 knots everywhere in the afternoon. High sea easing. Long period southwest swell rising to 2 metres. Easterly swell 7 metres north of Cape Reinga easing. Northerly swell 3 metres developing north of Cape Reinga.
