Monday: Southeast 15 knots, becoming northwest 15 knots but southeast 25 knots south of Cape Reinga early. Sea becoming rough in the south. Moderate southwest swell. Tuesday: Becoming northerly 15 knots everywhere early, rising to northeast 25 knots later. Rough sea easing for a time. Moderate southwest swell, becoming heavy northerly swell north of Cape Reinga.
