Becoming northwest 15 knots north of East Cape in the morning. Becoming northwest 10 knots but westerly 20 knots in the north in the afternoon. Sea becoming moderate in the north. Southwest swell 1 metre. Northeast swell rising to 2 metres. Poor visibility in showers developing in the morning. Possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Saturday: Northwest 20 knots, turning southwest 20 knots in the afternoon. Moderate easterly swell, but moderate northwest swell north of East Cape. Sunday: Southerly 15 knots, turning easterly 10 knots early. Rising to northeast 25 knots later. Sea becoming rough.
