The NZ Sharemarket rose slightly today with the NZX50 up 0.44% percent (58.74 points) from previous close to end the day at 13,309. The most actively traded stock on the NZSE, with over 2.3 million shares changing hands was Air New Zealand Ltd (NS) , closing the day down 1% from it's opening to 57.5c. The next biggest trader was Spark New Zealand Ltd ($2.20) with over 2.2 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 108 to 104, with the biggest loser being WasteCo Group Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was Comvita Ltd (. |
